Ganderbal, which has led to the accumulation of silt and debris in the Sindh Power Canal, & has disrupted the supply of raw water to all the major Water treatment plants in Block Ganderbal & Block Lar [partly)


Ganderbal July 29:(ANR) The water supply is likely to remain affected upto to 7:00 pm of 30/07/2023 or till the complete restoration of the power canal in several areas of the district.


According to order issued by executive engineer Jal Shakti PHE Rural water supply Division Ganderbal as per *Anantnag News Reader* said Executive Engineer, PHE Rural Water Supply Division Ganderbal hereby informs the general public of the unprecedented cloudburst and flash floods around 3:00 AM 29-07-2023 at Gujjerpati Preng Distt. Ganderbal, which has led to the accumulation of silt and debris in the Sindh Power Canal, & has disrupted the supply of raw water to all the major Water treatment plants in Block Ganderbal & Block Lar [partly). Although efforts to clear the canal of silt and debris are underway on a war-footing basis by concerned departments, the complete restoration is expected to take more time keeping in view the severity and magnitude of the flash floods. The general public is therefore informed that the water supply is likely to remain affected up to 7:00 pm of 30/07/2023 or till the complete restoration of the Canal, in the following areas of the District Ganderbal and advised to make judicious use of already stored water.

Wayil, Nadirbagh, Bobsipora, Budurkund, Bandibagh, Arch, Search, Suderbagh, Chowdribagh, Malpora, Hard Muradabagh, Gundrehman, Harran, Gundmumin, Hakimgund, Hatborah, Kustooripora, Sehpora, Shalbugh-A, Tulbagh, Chundina Deh Naowabaf, Gogjigund, Malikpora, Kokgund, Korag, Gadoora, Kujjar, Rakhi Harran, Benchama & Manigam.
