Mir Tajamul Islam, a 24-year-old Kashmiri youth, hailing from a very far flung hamlet of south Kashmir's pulwama district, some 30 km away from Pulwama, was very passionate from his toddler stage to help the society through his possible means. 


Mir Tajamul Islam a young energetic law student & a social activist hailing from a very far flung area achagoza of South Kashmir district pulwama.Mir did his schooling from his native village and was zealous about preservation and promotion of rights of the people. He completed his matriculation from Abu Hanifa Memorial institute rajpora pulwama with great & inspirational percentage & did his +2 from GHSS keller shopian. 



Though his initial aspirations were in the medical field, but his hunger to serve society at large steered him towards a different path, and now he is pursuing a BA LLB degree at the University of Kashmir. Mir’s journey is one of perseverance and with diverse talents, encompassing public speaking, writing, photography, activism, and a passionate to work for his people. Inspired by influential figures and motivated by his own aspirations, Mir is a Student Activist, public speaker, raises social issues, writes Articles (periodically) for various Newspapers. Besides this, he reads philosophy and is pursuing a Bachelors degree in philosophy as well from an open university (distance education). Mir’s journey began as a medical student until the 12th grade,but his hunger to uplift the society was motivating him to do some more inspirational & for the public at large. 


Mir in 2021 had signed and filled a pledge form to donate his particular body organs after his death through “ORGAN India”, an NGO, under the aegis of National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO). His pledge has been registered under NOTTO and will receive a donor card with a unique government registration number within 4 weeks. He had been cordially appreciated for the step taken by him


He has been tirelessly working to develop the interests in upcoming youth to promote & work for the welfare of society, His social & student activism helped him & his associates alot, as Mir is longing to learn new things & ready to face new challenges in his life. 


Mir's involvement in social and student activism has been nothing short of remarkable. He have consistently taken a stand against injustices and worked tirelessly to raise awareness about important issues. Whether it's advocating for the rights of marginalized communities or fighting for educational reforms, Mir has proven to be a catalyst for positive change.


One of Mir's notable talents is their ability to inspire and motivate others through their speeches. His words have the power to captivate audiences and ignite a sense of hope and determination. Mir's skill as a motivational speaker has been instrumental in rallying support for various causes and encouraging individuals to take action.


Mir Tajamul’s talents is not only upto the bounds of law. He is an accomplished blogger, and writer, contributing his insightful articles & raises various social issues through various local and national newspapers such as , Kashmir Reader, Kashmir Observer, Kashmir Glory etc. With a keen eye for capturing the beauty of nature, Mir also indulges in natural photography showcasing his creative prowess.


Apart from his academic pursuits, Mir actively engages in resolving social problems and student welfare activities. He is a dedicated acting president of Jammu & Kashmir Students Movement (J&KSM) & acting as a chairman of Law Students Forum (LSF) he is also a member of many organizations and NGO’s. His involvement with these NGOs reflects his commitment to championing the rights and welfare of students and the community at large. Mir is not only a law student but also a social and student activist. It's inspiring to see someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community. Being involved in activism while pursuing a law degree can have a powerful impact. Mir is definitely making an impact and contributing to positive change.
